MyBeckett - Basics, navigation & content creation

Overview: Get started in MyBeckett. This session covers colleague and student enrolment, how to add / copy / edit / move content, modify the module navigation menu, and use student preview mode. MyBeckett - Bring your own module workshop
Aimed at: Academic Staff
Duration: 1 hour
Overview: This workshop is a follow up session aimed at colleagues who have attended MyBeckett and Learning Systems training sessions. It is a self-paced practical session, providing the opportunity to work on your module or course group content with staff on hand for questions and support. Before attending this session, we recommend thinking about the content you want to build. On the day, an instructor sandbox module will be available for you to try MyBeckett tools that you are interested in using within your teaching. If you're unable to attend our face-to-face training sessions in advance of this workshop, please complete our online MyBeckett Basics training via the Training tab in MyBeckett.

PebblePad - An introduction
Aimed at: All Academic colleagues
Duration: 1 hour
Overview: PebblePad is a personal learning space and e-portfolio tool. This session is aimed at academic colleagues with little or no previous experience using PebblePad. During this session, you will learn how to access PebblePad and gain an understanding of the tools available for creating and sharing content. You will also see how the system can be used for different types of assessment, and the process for each of these.

PebblePad - Assignment set up and submission
Aimed at: Academic colleagues
Duration: 1 hour
Overview: During this session, you will gain an understanding of how manual assessment is handled in PebblePad, by learning how to set up PebblePad assignments, process submissions and provide marks and feedback via ATLAS. This session is aimed at academic colleagues who have either previously attended our 'PebblePad - An Introduction' session, or have a good understanding of Pebble+ and ATLAS already.

Turnitin - Assignment set up and submission
Aimed at: All Academic colleagues
Duration: 1 hour
Overview: Learn how to set up a Turnitin assignment using recommended assignment settings e.g. due and post dates, file submission formats, exclusions, allowing students to submit multiple times, late submissions and the student submission process. Turnitin - Online marking and feedback
Aimed at: All Academic Staff
Duration: 1 hour
Overview: Learn how to provide online marks and feedback on Turnitin assignments using Feedback Studio. This session covers inline (on the paper)) feedback, general written feedback, audio feedback, rubrics and releasing marks / feedback to students.
